Leadership Team

Andre is a successful serial entrepreneur. He is the founder of the Good Governance Group, an international security and risk consultancy which he has grown organically and through acquisition. Andre is a barrister by background and is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa.

Nazo was a member of the founding team of Carlyle European Technology Partners and led a number of transactions in the technology and internet sectors. Prior to this, Nazo worked at JH Partners, a San Francisco-based growth fund, and was Director of Marketing and Business Development at Thermo Fisher, a publicly-listed company. In addition to providing leadership at C5, Nazo serves on the board of the Arts Council England and the Charity Commission, the regulatory body to the voluntary sector of England and Wales.

Nazo has a Bachelors Degree in International Economics from UCLA and an MBA from Columbia University.

Advisory Council

Mike served as 17th Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2007 to 2011. He was principal military advisor to President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama. He was 28th Chief of Naval Operations from 2005 to 2007.

Admiral Mullen has a Master of Science in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and completed the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

Mike currently serves on the boards of General Motors, InQTel and Sprint.

Graeme has had a long and distinguished military career with both the Regular and UK Special Forces, of which he was Director from 2001 to 2003. Graeme is a non-executive director of AEGIS, a leading private security company. He has been formally recognised by Her Majesty’s Government seven times for his service to the nation.

Jacques has worked with leading international groups such as Matra, Aerospatiale and EADS. He is a member of the Scientific Advisory Committee to the French Minister of Defence.

Jacques holds a degree in Aerospace Engineering and is a graduate of the Stanford Business School and the Institute of High National Defence Studies (IHEDN). He has been awarded both the Ordre National du Mérite and the Legion d’Honneur.


Technology Council


John is CMO, Global Head of Industry Solutions & Member of Group Executive Board at TecDax-listed Software AG. He previously established and ran the Big Data Analytics group at Software AG.

Before joining Software AG, he served as EVP and CTO of NASDAQ-listed Progress Software. John was also Founder, President and CTO of Apama, a Cambridge (UK) based technology company that pioneered in the area of big data streaming analytics. John is also a former academic at the University of Cambridge.

John recently published the book “Thingalytics: Smart Big Data for the Internet of Things”

Simon is the CEO of NTT Com Security, formerly Integralis.

He previously was Managing Director at Integralis and prior to that held VP positions at VeriSign and NetIQ.

Overall, Simon has spent 25 years in the IT industry (12 in Security and Risk), of which in 19 years sales leadership & management experience with specific focus on managed & professional services, information security & systems management software.

Per Roman is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of GP Bullhound LLP since 1999, and today one of Europe´s best-known technology investment bankers and experts in international M&A and capital transactions for high-growth businesses.

Per has advised successful companies such as 13th Lab, Apertio, Avito, CLX, Cramer Systems, DeliveryHero,, Klarna, Libratone, Nanoradio, Navteq, Neonode, Tobii, TradeDoubler, Pingdom, PlayerX, Shazam and SteelSeries among many others.

He has also lead proprietary investments in many companies including Spotify, Avito, Klarna, LeoVegas, KnC and Mathem.

Per previously was a banker at Lehman Brothers and before that at Autodesk in the software industry.

Metrasens is a magnetic detection business that was spun out of the international defence firm, Qinetiq.

The Company has two product categories that utilise its unique and patented technologies: Ferroguard, an MRI room safety device and Cellsense, a metal detection device used in prisons, hotels and high value government and office buildings. In the security segment, Cellsense is the category leader and is already installed in over 200 prisons in the US and across the globe.

BalaBit, a Luxembourg headquartered company is a European IT security innovator, specializing in advanced monitoring technologies.
